We asked the apprentice 'what skills have you gained during your apprenticeship' to which the answer he gave was “During my apprenticeship at Dormor Machine, I’ve been learning to set up a machine, operate the manual lathe, and I’ve done a lot of drilling. I’ve also been learning how to organise the workload to meet deadlines and communicate as a team effectively.”
